MANAGING DIRECTOR

Ryan became a registered SAP assessor in 2013 and founded Zero3 in July 2018 from his home office. Following the arrival of his first-born daughter, Ryan wanted the flexibility to prioritise family life without compromising on quality of service.

Over the years, Ryan has worked tirelessly to drive steady growth while upholding high service standards and fostering strong collaborations. He takes great pride in his attention to detail, his extensive knowledge of construction compliance, and the solid reputation he has built within the industry.

Outside of work, Ryan can be found in the gym at 6am, playing hide and seek with his kids, or having fun rolling down the sand dunes!

ENERGY ASSESSOR

Ed's journey into energy assessment began while working for a heating company, where his interest in the field was first sparked. In 2013, he took the step to qualify as an RdSAP Domestic Energy Assessor. Over the next decade, Ed expanded his expertise and role, eventually being invited to give talks on energy efficiency to organisations such as the Association of Residential Letting Agents and the Association of Cornish Property Professionals.

In 2023, Ed pursued additional training to become a fully qualified SAP Assessor. The detailed approach offered by SAP methodology was a perfect fit for Ed, and it has led him to his current position at Zero3.

Outside of work, Ed is a dedicated father of two. He has recently achieved his first dan black belt in Judo, enjoys playing guitar, and loves attending live music gigs.

DIRECTOR

Nicola joined Zero3 in December 2024 after a successful 19-year career in the ambulance service. As Ryan’s wife, the transition from emergency frontline ambulance work to a more balanced role has been a perfect fit for their family dynamic and the continued growth of their much-loved business.

Throughout her career as a Paramedic, Nicola honed her leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, which she now brings to her role at Zero3. Nicola oversees a variety of essential responsibilities within the company. Her duties include administration, maintaining high service standards, and managing the day-to-day operations to ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting client needs.

Outside of work, Nicola enjoys spending quality time with their two young children and pursuing her passion for strength training at the gym.

SENIOR ENERGY CONSULTANT

Adam is a highly experienced Senior Energy Consultant with a BSc in Building Surveying and Property Management. With 18 years in the construction and sustainability sectors, Adam brings a wealth of expertise, including the recent completion of the prestigious Passivhaus Qualification.

In his role, Adam provides a number of services such as SAP and Part O overheating assessments, Psi value calculations, and producing Energy and Sustainability Statements.

In his spare time, Adam loves football and enjoys playing 7-a-side with his team. In the evenings he likes to relax with a good TV series or a comedy!
