SAP Assessments

SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) calculates the energy efficiency of a dwelling and in turn, demonstrates compliance with Part L of The Building Regulations.

A SAP assessment is required for all new build domestic dwellings, extensions with excessive glazing (more than 25% of the extension floor area) and in some cases conversions/change of use.

Commercial EPCs

An energy performance certificate (EPC) indicates the energy efficiency of a building and grades it on a scale from A to G, with A being the most efficient.

The EPC will take into account the fabric of the building, heating & lighting systems and it’s intended use.

Energy Statements

Local authorities may require an Energy Statement for residential and commercial developments at the planning stage. Our team has many years of experience in providing these statements. We ensure the planning submission is in accordance with the local council policy documentation and regulations.

The work we have provided spans the length and breadth of the country covering many local requirements and national regulations also. Our energy statements illustrate the environmental aspects of the proposed development highlighting the energy/carbon profile and options for the reduction of energy consumption.
